The local administration in Shendam LGA promised to raise the standard of education in the southern zone of the state. Shendam LGA Chairman Nicholas Kemi Nshe stated this when officials of the Oswald Waller College of Education visit him in his office. The college which was established by the Catholic Diocese of Shendam is set to provide alternative opportunity for students seeking admissions to colleges of education across the state.
According to Kemi Nshe, Shendam local government council will support the college as the pioneer College of Education in Plateau South.
Earlier the consulting provost of Oswald Waller College of Education in Shendam Dr. Matthew Sule informed the chairman that their visit was to seek for his support morally and financially, stressing that already N400 students have been admitted to read various courses in the college.
