Leader of Plateau indigenes in FCT Mr Bitrus Nabasu has called reconciliation and forgiveness by the people of the state in the face of security challenges confronting it. Nabasu made the call during an emergency executive council meeting of the association at Plateau House Abuja.
According to Nabasu the emergency meeting is to come together as a people to discuss the unfortunate bomb blast in Jos describing it as callous, barbaric and ungodly. He explained that the present situation calls for sober reflection and the need to expedite the mechanism towards accepting the injured currently undergoing treatment in hospitals in the state. The President added that what is paramount now is for Plateau people to support the security agencies to unravel those behind the acts in order to bring them to justice.
While condoling the Plateau State government and families of those that lost their loved ones in the bomb blast, the meeting called for conceptive efforts to bring back the adopted Chibok school girls. Prayers were later offered for the repose of the souls of those killed in the bomb blast and safe return of over 200 recently adopted by insurgents.
