Plateau State government has announced that there are vacancies in Satellite market for traders whose businesses were affected because of the closure of their shops following the recent twin bomb-blast in Jos.
Commissioner for Information and Communication, Olivia Daziem said this after a meeting between leaders of market associations, transporters, state government officials and security chiefs.
Daziem said they agreed to work in the state capital as well as to improve the security situation. Commissioner for Urban Development, Solomon Maren said some of the structures close to the site of the twin blast will be put down, having been identified to be faulty and pleaded with those affected to corporate. The meeting was chaired by Commander of the special task force, Major Gen. David Enitie.
