New Managing Director for PIPC

Plateau government has restated its commitment in turning the fortunes of the state economy to an enviable height in order to meet up with global standards through the restructuring of its investment firm.
The state Commissioner for Commerce & Industry, Helen Miner reaffirmed this while ushering in the new Managing Director of Plateau Investment and Property Development Company (P.I.P.C), Mr Silas Liman to his office at the Murtala Muhammad House in Jos.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Mustapha Umar Galadima, the Commissioner handed over to the new Managing Director a Compendium of projects, tagged;”THE FUTURE” Containing details of the re-structuring of the Company for him to study carefully for onward action, urging Mr Liman to see his appointment as part of the present administration effort to restructure the organization for the up liftment of the state’s economy and also in meeting the yearning and aspirations of plateau people.
Miner disclosed that the state government had a year ago awarded a contract to prime consult for the restructuring of Plateau Investment and Property Development Company aimed at promoting better productivity and enhancing the economy fortunes of the state.
In this acceptance speech, the new Managing Director, Mr Silas Liman appreciated the state government for giving the opportunity to serve the state and pledged his readiness to justify confidence repose in him.
Liman called for the support and Co-Operation from his predecessors and the staff of the Company in every way possible to enable him succeeds.
Earlier in a farewell address, the out-going Managing Director, Gyang Choji congratulate Mr Liman on his new appointment and thanked Governor Jonah David Jang for allowing him served his father land and urged the new Managing Director to see the company as a learning institution ,calling on him to bring his wealth of experience to bare in the organization.
Choji promise to be available when the need arises.
