Plateau State deputy Governor Longjan formally join 2015 gubernatorial race

Plateau State’s Deputy Governor, Ignatius Longjan has formally notified the Plateau State working committee of the Peoples Democratic Party of his intention to contest next year’s governorship election in the state.

This he did by submitting his letter of intention to the state acting chairman, Raymond Dabo at the PDP secretariat in Jos.
Shortly after submitting his letter of intent to the state’s working committee of the PDP, Longjan said his campaign for the office of the Governor will be based on the rules and regulations guiding the party primaries, He urged the committee to create a level playing field for all aspirants vying for political offices so that whoever emerges as the party flag bearer will be acceptable to all.

Receiving the letter of intent from the deputy governor, the State’s acting Chairman of the Party, Raymond Dabo, described the deputy governor as a prudent manager of resources and assured him that the party will be fair to all aspirants vying for political offices.
