The speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly Titus Alams in company of the Commissioner and management of the Ministry of Works and the Commissioner Water Resources and Energy as well as the former Commissioner of Urban Development express satisfaction on the ongoing project being executed by the redemption government of governor Jonah Jang. Alams said Mbar-Richa-kamwai road is one project that will not only change the lives of the people of the communities but also the economic status of the citizens of Bokkos local government area. Speaker said who is on assessment visit said he is fulfilled because he is a living witness to this project that has linger for 60 year coming to reality. Commissioner for Works engineer Gyang Tanko and his Water Resources and Energy counterpart Engineer Vincent Arings said the project is one way of opening up rural areas of Bokkos Local Government Area. Former Commissioner of Urban Development Solomon Maren, Bokkos LG Deputy Chairman Lot Ashap and the village head of Mbar Kamut Ukut applauded the redemption administration of Plateau state and promise to pay them back during the forth coming polls.
The 36 km road is expected to link the communities with the outside world as well as path way for the construction of a dam that will provides electricity and irrigation to the people of the area.
