The Jos open center for national open University has matriculated over 1,000 students for the 2014-2015 academic section addressing the students vice chancellor of the institution Vincent Tenabe said the institution has become a house hold name and a pace setter in the 21 century.
The newly matriculated students took oaths to make their final acceptance in to the national Open University Jos study center. Addressing the student prof. Tanabe reminded them that the matriculation just a gate way making the beginning of training in to their different programs noted that it is not a warranty for graduation and called on them to study hard. Represented by the director Jos study center Isaac Putwad, the vice chancellor assured them of quality education adding that the institution is to partner with other open distant learning institutions across the world. The director of the Jos study center of Nigeria has won the students not to engage in social vices stressing that the any one find wanting will be penalized .Some of the matriculated students too express gratitude for the opportunity given to them and promise to abide by the lay down rules and regulations.
