Jega denied being under pressure

Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof Atahiru Jega has denied the allegation that he is under pressure to resign, Jega said this at a town hall meeting organized by the media and some stake holders in Abuja. The INEC boss said the protest calling for his resignation by some group will not deterred the commission’s delivery of a free and fair election to Nigerians. Jega who said the commission has put in place measures to prevent multiple voting during the election stresses that the time laps between activation and voting is aim at restricting movement of voters from one pulling unit to the other and ensuring that people will not vote more than once . The INEC boss blame political parties for failing in their responsibilities in sensitizing the public on the need for them to collect their PVC Saying they are also stake holders in the electoral process.
