NGO in Plateau State to honour Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as Father of Modern Day Democracy

A non-governmental organization in Jos Plateau state is set to honored  President Goodluck Ebele  Jonathan for his sterling achievements in repositioning the economy and being reckoned as the father of modern day democracy in the world.

The foundation known as Sunday Bala Oma Foundation place value to President Jonathan’s admittance of defeat during the presidential election in the country that keep Nigeria one and stronger than what the Western world’s prediction of possible divisions in the year 2015.

The founder and CEO of the NGO; Comrade Sunday Oma in a chat with our reporter stress that” Mr. President’s  conceding defeat  has prevented the loss of precious lives as well as countered the predictions of a possible end to the existence of our dear country by 2015″.

Comrade Oma further stated that, after the National Executives Council meeting this year, the organization deem it fit to honor personalities who have distinguished themselves in the course of serving humanity and the Nation at large…
Some other  awardees are the PDP National Chairman, Dr. Ahmed Muazu, Sen. David Mark,Gov. Jonah David Jang for his developmental projects. Air Chief Marshal Alex Bardeh, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin, Dr. Ibrahim Shekarau, Amb. Fidelis Tapgun, Gen. J.T Useni, Sen. Joshua Dariye, Sen. GNS Pwajok, Chief Arthur Eze, Prof. Jerry Gana amongst several others
The awards night will hold on the 16th May 2015 at the Bishop’s Court in Jos by 8am. The Foundation is expected to honour her 2nd Annual Essay Competition for the Best students.
The Founder and CEO further stated that they  are going to officially declared March 31st every year as the Foundation’s Father of Democracy Day in the country.
