President Buhari Congratulates Lalong on his victory at the Tribunal

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,  Muhammdu Buhari yesterday congratulates the Governor of Plateau State, Bar. Simon Lalong and the good people of Plateau State over the victory recorded at the election petition tribunal sitting in the state.

He stated that he was waiting for the court verdict to congratulate the people of the state again after congratulating them on the victory recorded at the 11th April 2015 gubernatorial election in the country.
The goodwill message of President Buhari was delievered by Governor Lalong while addressing a mammoth crowd of supporters at the new government house little Rayfield in Jos who turned out to congratulate him.
He said he has dedicated the victory at the tribunal to the people of Plateau State, maintaining that it is a victory to all irrespective of where they came from.
Lalong pledges his readiness to meet up with the task ahead of him in the state, “it is time for my team and I to start work properly, we will not only work in the state capital but move to the rural areas to deliver the change desired by our people in the state” He said.
The governor called on the opposition party in the state to join hands with his administration to build a peaceful and better plateau.
Chairman of the Plateau state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Mr. Latep Dabang in his speech appreciate the Plateau State PDP chairman Mr. Raymond Dabo for accepting the decision of the tribunal and congratulating Governor Simon Lalong on his emergence as the Governor of Plateau state adding that it is an indication that politics is not a do or die affair.
