Plateau State Commissioner for commerce visits companies in the state

Companies in Plateau have been encouraged to maintain high standard of production to attract more customers. State Commissioner for commerce and industries Hon. Ezekiel Daju made the call when he embarked on a tour of companies in the state.

Company visited by the Commissioner includes the Coca-Cola and Vitaform Nig. PLC. At the Coca Cola Bottling Company, the Commissioner assured them of Government support at all times calling on it to maintain high standard especially in the quality of products. Speaking at Vitaform Nigeria PLC, the Commissioner commended the company for producing quality products and also assures them of the ministry’s support.

The acting Manager of Coca Cola said the company covered 6 States and has a workforce of 137 staff that are always ready to work but are constrained by lack of adequate water supply. He appeal to Government to come to their rescue by supplying constant water that will enhance production.

At Vitaform, the distribution Manager thanked the Commissioner for the visit saying the major challenge facing the company is lack of road to the company’s head quarters and call on Government to help construct a road network to the factory, he also assured the Commissioner of the company’s support to the present Administration.
