STF ban the sale of petroleum products in black markets, gave a 24hr ultimatum

The Special Task Force in Plateau state code name Operation Safe Haven(OPSH) has place an immediate ban on all forms of roadside and illegal sales of petroleum products within Jos and Bukuru metropolis.
In a press statement sign by the information officer of the Force, Capt. Iweha Ikedikachi made available to Journalist in Jos, the Plateau state capital on Wednesday, he gave 24 hours to all individuals in possession of the product to disposed them or returned them to petrol stations.

The statement stress that all black marketers operating within the vicinity of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation(NNPC) mega stations under the overhead bridge and all other nooks and corners of road within the metropolis are warned to vacate immediately.

This order followed a resolution reached upon at the security meeting held by head of all security agencies at the Operation Safe Haven headquarters in Jos. The statement also stated that upon the expiration of the ultimatum, the Force shall commence compulsory seizures of petroleum product.

The force also called on the general public not to panic during Easter celebration across the 17 local government areas of the state as men of the force would not cordoned any act of mischief in the State.
