For the first time in a while, the church made headlines for the right reasons, Courtesy of the Christian Economic Group.
CEG is an emerging platform that seeks to empower Christians Economically through Financial and technical support which also includes workshops, seminars and summit.
According to them, in the face of current economic realities “ Christians even much more than before must become productive and economically sound as well as spiritually matured, our mandate therefore is to provide and facilitate the process”
The group is made of up of Eng. Solomon Chikan; a seasoned Entrepreneurship consultant, Pastor Ferdinand Nshing; a teacher of the Word and Victor Prince Dickson; Inventor of Kommon Sense. The programme was anchored by Pastor Edesiri.
At the unveiling programme: Christian Economic Summit with Theme: Hidden Wealth, which held at Treasures Inn, Rayfied road, Jos, Plateau State. The group unveiled two strategic Platforms.
One is the Practical Entrepreneurship School, by the team lead, Eng. Solomon Chikan, which is already scheduled to run for 13, 14 and 15th of October, 2016 at the same venue. This is open to only registered participants.
The second is the Institution of the General Assembly and Think-Tank of the Christian Economic group, set to further create, design and facilitate platforms for the empowerment of Christians economically.
Participants at the programme were so excited about the platform especially after listening to the key strategies on ground to make the project a success.
The second Summit has been schedule to take place very soon. Details will be announced on this platform.
