Nigerian Army 3 Division Gets New Acting GOC

The Nigeria Army has appointed Brig. Gen. Peter Dauke as the Acting Commanding Officer (GOC) controlling the 3 Army Division Maxwel Khobe Cantonment Rukuba Barack Jos.
Brig. Gen. Dauke took over from Brig. Gen. Elvis Njoku who has been in acting capacity following the road traffic accident involving the substantial Acting General Commanding the 3 Division, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Aliyu.
The new Acting Commanding Officer charge officers and soldiers of the Division to be security conscious at all time especially with the resurgence of security challenges in some parts of the Country.
This was contained in a Press statement signed by the Deputy Director, Army Public Relations Officer 3rd Division, Col. Kayode Ogunsanya and made available to Journalists in Jos the Plateau State capital.
Until his new appointment as the Commanding officer 3rd Division, Brig. Gen. Dauke was the Acting Commanding Officer Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command in Minna Niger State.
