Barely a week after the abducted Secretary of the JNI was released, Plateau state once again receive with shock the news of the abduction of Ambassador Bagudu Hirse, a former Minister of State, Foreign Affairs and elder statesman yesterday, in Kaduna State.
In a press statement made available to pressmen the Governor will not take it kindly with criminals who take the law in their hands.

The Plateau State Government has again received with great shock the news of the abduction of Ambassador Bagudu Hirse, a former Minister of State, Foreign Affairs and elder statesman yesterday, in Kaduna State.
This evil act to say the least is most condemnable. The Executive Governor of Plateau State, the Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, on behalf of his family, the entire people and Government of Plateau State, hereby condemn this act in its entirety.
The Governor would like to use this medium to sympathize with the family of the Ambassador in this travail. The security agencies both in Plateau and Kaduna States have been jointly mobilized to unravel the circumstances leading to his abduction and to effect his unconditional release.
The governor is worried that this act of kidnapping which is unknown to this part of the country is becoming one too many and he warns that government will not take it kindly with criminals who take the law in their hands. He added that the full weight of the law will be placed on hoodlums in the state.
