Court sentenced 26yrs old to 4 months for possession of 150 grams of Tramadol

A Federal High court sitting in Jos has sentenced 26 years old Chris Kumsat for illegal possession of 150 grams of Tramadol tablets contrary to and punishable under section 20 © subsection 2(c) of the NDLEA Act Cap N30 Laws of the federation of Nigeria 2004 (As Amended). Chris Kumsat who was arraigned before Justice Dorcas Agishi on the 21st Day of March 2017. Pleaded guilty to the one count charge against him. In support of their case, Sarah Oketola Esq, Counsel to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) tendered the Certificate of test analysis, Packing of Substance Form, Request for Scientific Aid form and 150 grams of Tramadol recovered from Chris Kumsat. After listening to the accused persons counsel P .A Guzol enter an allocutus on his behalf, the presiding Judge sentenced him to for months imprisonment, with effect from the 30th day of October, 2016. when he was first arrested
