6 prisoners of the Jos prison on trials for various offences have been discharged by the Plateau State Chief Judge Pius Damulak calling on them not to commit any offence again.
The administration of criminal justice committee was set up to take a routine monthly visit to prisons and ascertain those awaiting trials. The chairman of the committee and Plateau State Chief Judge, Justice Pius Damulak called religious organization to visit prisoners in order to upgrade their spiritual lives.
The 6 Prisoners that regain freedom are Gyang Bot, Musa Ayuba, Aaron Antony, Walbe Gregory Abraham Gamde and Chun Choji. Justice Damulak cautioned them not to commit any offence again.
On his part the Controller of Jos Prison represented by the Deputy Controller Mankali Kurimi said they were delighted by the visit.
