Govt to revamp Plateau Specialist Hospital

The Plateau State Government has said that, it would soon revamp the Plateau Specialists Hospital to meet with world standard in hospitals.
Governor Simon Bako made the revelation last Wednesday while commissioning the end phase of Parkview Family Medicine Royal Hospital, Jos.
According to the governor, the state needed such investment as it would enhance health care development in the state, as according to him, the state would always welcome anybody or any corporate organization that wants to invest in the state as it has provided modalities for such.
Earlier, in his speech, the chairman of the occasion and former Medical Director of JUTH, Dr. Ishaya Pam said, what the proprietor did would go a long way in improving health care in the state as it would go a long way in saving the lives of people.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chief Medical Director of the Parkview Family Medicine Royal Hospital Jos, Dr. Michael Obadofin, said, his vision and mission of establishing a private hospital was to provide a comprehensive health care to individuals and families in the fear of God with family medicine as his focus.
Our correspondent reports that the hospital started operation in the late 1990s.
